Some people think it necessary to build a subway.For one thing, building a subway can help solve traffic problems and people will enjoy a more convenient life. For another, it provides a new means of transportation, which is environmentally friendly.
On the other hand, others hold the opposite opinion. From their point of view, the long process of construction is bound to influence people’s daily life. What’s more, too much money will be spent building it, and it will take a long time to get the money back.
Weighing the pros and cons, I support the idea that a subway should be built because not only will the environment be protected but also more space will be saved.
