A
Some parents are used to doing almost everything for their children. They see their
older children or sometimes even adults as babies! It can be a very common problem in China, because most of parents only have one child. Some parents care so much about the safety of their children that they are afraid to let them go anywhere or do anything by themselves. As a result, their children fail to learn social skills and come to depend more on them!
In fact ,no children really enjoy being look after by their parents all the time.No parents would be happy knowing that.As a result of too much care, their children don’t know anything about the world!Children need their own time to grow into adult and to learn how to deal with problems.Too much care spoils their fun when they are growing up.And when suddenly they cannot depend on their parents ,These children will be in big trouble!
It is nice that parents show their care to their children;it isnice that children know their parents'care is out of love;and it will be nicer if the children let their parents know how much love they really need, and how much love is too much.

(On December 7, 2012, Mo Yan, a writer from China, the first Chinese to win the Nobel Prize, gavea speech in Sweden (瑞典). Here is a part of his speech, a little bit changed. )
Distinguished members of the Swedish Academy, ladies and gentlemen:
Through television and the Internet, I imagine that everyone here has at least known something about my hometown Northeast Gaomi. You may have seen my ninety-year-old father, as well as my brothers,my sister, my wife and my daughter, even my granddaughter, now a year and four months old. But the person who is most on my mind at this moment is my mother whom you will never see. Many people have shared the honor of winning this prize, everyone but her. My mother was born in 1922 and died in 1994. I was my mother's youngest child.
My earliest memory was of taking our only vacuum bottle(热水瓶)for drinking water. Because ofbeing hungry, I dropped the bottle and broke it. Scared very much, I hid myself in a haystack(草垛) all that day. Toward evening, I heard my mother calling my childhood name, so I crawled out of my hiding place, and prepared to receive a beating or a scolding(责备). But Mother didn't hit me, and didn't even scold me. She just rubbed my head and heaved a sigh(叹一口气).
My most painful memory involved going out in the collective (集体的) field with Mother to glean ears of wheat(捡麦穗). The gleaners ran away when they saw the watchman. But Mother, who had bound feet (裹脚), could not run. She was caught and hit so hard by the watchman that she fell to the ground. The watchman took away what we got and walked off with whistling. As she sat on the ground, her lip was bleeding. Mother wore a look of hopelessness I'll never forget. Years later, when I met the watchman, now a gray-haired old man, in the marketplace, Mother had to stop me from going up to avenge her(为她报仇). `Son,' she said peacefully, `the man who hit me and this man are not the same person.
