一、教材概况及新课标分析

我校使用的八年级下册英语教材,是北京仁爱教育研究所编著的《Project English》共计四个单元,十二个话题,具体内容是:

UNIT 5 Feeling Happy

Topic 1 Why all the smiling faces?

Topic 2 I feel better now.

Topic 3 Many things can affect our feelings

UNIT 6 Enjoy cycling

Topic 1 We are going on a spring field trip.

Topic 2 How about exploring the Ming Tombs?

Topic 3 Bicycles are popular.

UNIT 7 Food Festival

Topic 1 We are preparing for a food festival.

Topic 2 Cooking is fun

Topic 3 Welcome to our food festival!

UNIT 8 Our clothes

Topic 1 What a nice coat!

Topic 2 Different jobs require different uniforms

十二个话题包含了二十七个功能项目:

1.Describing feelings and expreessing emotions. 2.Taslking about movies and Operas. 3.Sharing feelings with other people. 4.Giving aduice to people in a bad mood. 5.Expressing how things affect our feelings. 6.Taking care of ourselves. 7.Talking about a field trip. 8.Making reservations. 9.Talking about how to raise money. 10.Talking about exploring. 11.Descrbing activities and expressing our reactipns to the activities. 12.Describing the experience of different activities. 13.Talking about traffic rules signs and warnings. 14. Talking about cycling races. 15.Talking about plans to raise money. 16. talking about the food festival. 17. Writing invitations. 18. Talking about ways to cook. 19.Talking about sequence. 20.Talking about table manners and eating habits in different countries. 21.Talking about ordering food and taking an order. 22. Talkingt about ways of eating and healthy eating. 23.Taklking about types of clothes. 24.Talking about ways of dreesing. 25.Dressing for different occations. 26.Dressing for your body type. 27.Talking about different customs and cultures of dressing.

十二个话题,二十七个功能项目全面让学生在语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略、文化意识五个方面提供了练习的平台。文化意识方面要求了解中西餐的差异及英语国家饮食风俗,了解英语国家正式和非正式场合服饰、穿戴风俗,英语国家中的传统的体育活动,培养学生热爱大自然,热爱运动。情感方面,进一步培养学生学习兴趣,乐于参与各种英语实践活动,理解他人情感。学习策略方面,培养学生预习习惯和制定简单的学习计划。在语言知识方面和语言技能方面得到进一步的提高,听说读写得到全面发展,为进一步学习英语打下良好的基础。

三、 教学重点和难点

Unit 5 ①.Learning to describing feeling and expressing emotions share feelings give aduice to others. ②Mastering the usage of linking Verb + adj.\ adv. ③Mastering the clause of reason Let\make + object +Complement.④Learning the words and phrases in Unit 5.

Unit 6 ①.Learning to describe express the activities .②Talking about traffic rulessigns and warnings freely.③Mastering Infinitives AdverbicalClauses of time\condition.④Learning the words and phrases in Unit 6.

Unit 7 ①.Learning to talk about food festival the ways to cook table manners eating habits . ②. Mastering object Clauses Comparative and Superlative degrees of adverbs.③. Learning the words and phrases in Unit 7.

Unit 8 ①.Learning talk about types of clothesways of dressing for different occasionsdifferent customs and cultures of dressing. ②.Mastering the result of Adverbial Clause with “so that ” and object Clause. ③. Learning the words and phrases in Unit 8.

四、素质教育实施方案

本学期在素质教育实施方面,贯彻新课程标准要求,领会把握新课标理念,关注每位学生,激发学习兴趣,继续在学习策略上培养学生,使之养成预习、自学、领悟、质疑的学习习惯,以小组学习为主,培养他们的合作精神,共同完成学习任务。在评价过程中,注重过程的评价,态度的评价,通过评价促进学生的学习习惯和学习方法的养成。关注全体学生,并注重个体差异。使学生在语言技能、情感态度、等放方面得到全面提升。

五、课堂教学改革实施方案

本学期,继续推行课堂教学改革,结合我校八年级学生实际情况,遵循英语学科语言特点和规律,重视语言运用能力的培养,以 “预习----展示----反馈”的三环节制定课时计划,课时计划采用集体备课的方案,设计体现实用性、开放性,充分了解学生学习情况,把握教材重难点,始终体现学生的探究、合作,发挥学生的主体地位,具体步骤如下:

第一步,主备人根据备课计划提前备好课,一式四份,并在每周五下午之前分发到八年级英语教师手中。

第二步,八年级英语学科组定于每周五下午进行对主备人提供的教学计划集体讨论,有学科组长主持,先由主备人介绍备课思路,教学设计的意图,重难点如何突破,其他成员补充,每位成员讨论时可以结合自己对教材的理解和本班学生的实际发表观点和意见。

第三步,根据周五的集体研讨,每位成员根据主备人提供的课时计划进行修改,删减或增添部分教学环节,形成自己最终的教学计划,在本人上课时,个人还可以根据出现的新情况对教案适当调整,教案使用后自己保存,并按时装订成册,上缴档案室。
