一、 单元分析(Unit Analysis)
(一)单元地位(Unit Position)
1 本课出现了用形容词表示数量， “Some leaves become brown, red, or yellow.”可结合most, all ,none, 等相似的形容词进行比较并加以操练。
2 本课出现了用序数词作形容词表示顺序，Picture 2 could be the first slide. 教师对序数词和基数词作适当的归纳总结。
3 用含有“哪一个”词语的问句辨别某一特定物品,”Which one could be the first slide?”
(二)单元目标(Unit Target)
1 运用一般现在时态表示想法， “Spring makes me think of rain.”
2 运用形容词描写事物, “It is awful to walk in the streets when the weather is wet.”
3 用专有名词表示事物, “Easter is in spring.”
4 运用一般现在时态表示一个普遍真理, “In winter, the weather starts getting cold and dry.”
5 用一般现在时态表示喜好, “I prefer Picture 11 to Picture 4.”

第一课时 第一课时：主要教 "spring" "summer"教师可以通过How many seasons are there in a year?引出四季的学习，然后请学生谈论他们最喜欢的季节以及这个季节使他们联想到了什么，(可采用brain storm的形式，见[链接1])这时教师可引出本单元的重点句型"It is+ adj. to do sth." "What does spring make you think of?" "It makes me think of…" 、生词 "awful"" wake up"" brightly"" Easter"及动词加ing的词组start/love/like doing如果学生谈论的内容不多，教师可设定一定的情景，借助一些图片[链接2]，然后让学生听录音进一步了解课文。为了让学生更好地掌握其结构，教师可以通过pair work重点操练[链接3]。 第一课时

第二课时 第二课时：教师可以先在黑板上写一些形容词，如awful, interesting, nice, fun, important, dad, dangerous 先复习句型”It is +adj. to do sth.” ，随后要求用动词start, love, like造句来谈论他们在冬天和秋天喜欢和开始做的事，从而引出第二课时的教学内容。在学生学完了四季的内容之后，教师可结合"More oral practice"中Ask and answer的内容,把全班分成四组，通过辩论赛的形式要求学生讨论自己最喜欢的季节及原因。 第二课时

P55的教材处理 通过复习四季引出"prefer …to…"和"either…or…"句型，例如可以问以下问题"which season do you like better, spring or summer? "
"What do you do in this season?"来引出"I prefer spring to summer, because I either swim or go for a picnic."然后通过pair work使学生进一步掌握。之后，利用幻灯把书上p55的十二张图片展示给学生看，让学生根据P53-P54的内容排序，最后利用书上的对话加强操练，同时注意复习基数词和序数词的用法。 7AWB p28
